The Global Fund: The Global Fund HIV Program is a framework and grant agreement with the Global Fund through the Rwanda Biomedical Center-SPIU. The program implements HIV prevention activities focused on Behavior Change Communication, Social Marketing and distribution of the Plaisir condom brand, and ensure its availability and accessibility in all districts of the country.

 

Ministry of Health: SFH has partnered with the Ministry of Health to increase access to health

Services and reduce the disease burden in the Communities through construction of Health Posts at cell level, in addition, to ensure sustainability and to safeguard the gains made, SFH trains nurses through the Public Private Community Partnership to manage the health posts.

US Department of Defense: Since 2015, US Department of Defense (DoD) is supporting the Rwandan Ministry of Defense (MoD) to implement HIV Testing Services (HTS) including peer education outreach activities, mobile HIV Testing and Counseling (HTC) and care & treatment in all military brigades and hot spots surrounding military bases. Under the direct supervision of SFH/Rwanda, in partnership with the MoD/Medical Regiment, the necessary skills and resources in HIV prevention among Rwanda Defense Forces (RDF) members and key populations located in hot spots surrounding military bases are provided following national and international HTS guidelines to ensure high quality of services

Access Bank: This is a project implemented by SFH in partnership with Access bank Rwanda as part of their corporate social responsibility.  The activities are around school and environmental sanitation and hygiene.

SC Johnson: The SC Johnson Base of the Pyramid Group enables mosquito-borne disease prevention in global communities by delivering affordable offerings that are tailored to the world’s poorest four billion people. In support of this mission, SC Johnson is partnering with Society for Family Health (SFH) Rwanda embarked to prevent and control of malaria and mosquito bites through Social Behavior Change Communication and social marketing of mosquito repellents Baygon coil and off lotion. In additional, SC Johnson supported in strengthening health system and universal health care in Rwanda by providing financial support to build Health Posts for easy access to health care services without working long distances. This project will reach the heard to reach communities in selected district.
